Skin Care

Your pharmacists and their team can give you advice on caring for your skin such as staying safe in the sun as well as managing conditions such as psoriasis, acne and eczema.

How can pharmacists help  me to look after my skin?

Some pharmacists may offer a Minor Ailment Service where you can access over the counter products to treat skin conditions such as acne and eczema. They can also signpost you to other services if you need further help. If you have a condition like psoriasis, you may be able to use the NHS Medicines Use Review which helps you to get maximum benefit from your medicines. Ask at your local pharmacy for more information or, alternatively, your GP can refer you to your pharmacist. Pharmacists can also refer to other services and support groups that may help you. .
