The NPA's Health Education Foundation was established in 1989 to advance public education in the prevention and proper treatment of disease and ill health and the correct use of medicines.
Through the charitable donations of pharmacists and the general public, the NPA's Health Education Foundation has delivered much, including the provision of hardship grants, supporting initiatives to encourage students into the field of pharmacy, providing workshops on relevant areas of practice (e.g. Drug Tariff) and encouraging pharmacists to undertake research relating to community pharmacy practice through the provision of a Health Education Foundation Bursary.
Applications for the 2013 bursary are now closed.
