Andrew qualified at Sunderland School of Pharmacy in 1981 and owns the AlChem Pharmacy Group in SW England. He was elected to the NPA Board of Management in April 2010 to represent the South West and became Vice Chairman in April 2011.
Andrew is the SW Regional Representative for PSNC and is an active member of Gloucestershire LPC and was recently elected to NHS Gloucestershire PEC. He is a pharmacist member of the Primary Care Cardio Vascular Society and has interest in developing local networks of pharmacists keen to deliver services to Primary Care Commissioning organizations. He is also active in Europe as member of the Alliance Healthcare European Forum and an early advocate of Alphega Pharmacy, the virtual chain concept developed by Alliance Healthcare.
