Nitin started his career in a clinical laboratory, and the Royal Army Medical Corps. He qualified as a pharmacist in 1981 from Leicester, and worked for Boots. He is the MD of the regional multiple, Knights,and a director of the independent wholesaler, Lexon (UK). He is a member of the Association of Independent Multiples and former Chairman of Worcester LPC. He is also a former Vice-Chair of a UK Career Academy. Nitin was elected to the NPA Board in 2007.
