Benefits

Our employees work hard to deliver a high level of service to all our members. We feel it is therefore fair that they are well rewarded for their efforts. Our benefits package is competitive to enable us to attract, motivate and retain the right people.

 The Benefits:

  • Holiday entitlement
The NPA gives 23 days holiday per annum, rising after 3 years service to 28 days, plus all Bank Holidays.  If you work part time, your holiday entitlement is pro-rata.
  • Group personal pension scheme
This is administered by Scottish Widows where both the employee and the NPA make regular monthly contributions.
  • Life Assurance
Our life assurance scheme is available to all employees in the Group Personal Pension Scheme and pays a sum equivalent to four times annual salary to your nominated beneficiary.
  • Private medical insurance
A discounted Private Medical Insurance Scheme is in operation and available to all employees.
  • Bonus
The NPA will pay an annual bonus to all employees subject to the performance of the NPA group of companies and subject to the terms of the bonus scheme, which are reviewed annually.  This bonus is non-contractual and paid at management discretion.
  • Sponsorship for recognised academic qualifications
If you wish to gain further recognised academic qualifications, which are relevant to your job, the NPA will sponsor you and may pay course fees.
  • Reimbursement of professional membership fees
The NPA will reimburse one set of professional membership fees per person, per annum, up to a value set by the company.
  • NPA Insurance
Employees may buy services and products offered by the NPA Insurance Division.  These are detailed on the NPA website and include Home, Motor, Travel, Commercial and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Childcare vouchers
If you have children up to the age of 15 years (or 16 years if disabled) you can choose to take part of your salary in Childcare Vouchers
