Care staff training workshops
- Provide a summary of the training with multiple choice questions and activities throughout
- Contains a training record that is signed by the pharmacist to show attendance
- Have evalulation responses after each session to ensure learning objectives are met
There are three main sessions, with an optional fourth, covering the following topics:
- Introduction to medicines and their use
- Assisting with the administration of medicines
- Monitoring and supporting medicines use
- Medicines and the elderly (optional)
How long will it take to complete the course?
These topics can be combined possibly in a 1 day session or held in similar sessions separately depending on time constraints and the needs of the care home.
