Pharmacists are used to using NHS and the free point to delivery services offered by NHS prescriptions. 90% of the money generated by pharmacists are from prescriptions, therefore there is a general trend to increase the number of services. It is also important for pharmacists to check regularly with their local PCO to find out what is available and how they can work to improve their pharmacy, equally Community Pharmacy must change to keep on top of the modernising agenda.
