Hypurin Porcine insulins

Stocks of Hypurin Porcine Isophane Insulin (PL29831/0122) with the batch number PL40147 are being recalled after Wockhardt UK received reports of a blister of Hypurin Porcine Neutral Insulin 100IU/ml being packed incorrectly in a carton for Hypurin Porcine Isophane Insulin 100IU/ml.
Stocks of Hypurin Porcine Isophane Insulin (PL 29831/0122) which have a batch number of PL40147 should be quarantined and reported immediately to Wockhardt Customer Services on 01978 669215 or 01978 669219 to arrange return and credit or replacement.
Packs of Hypurin Porcine Neutral Insulin with the lot number PL40147 are not affected by this recall and should not be returned.
Pharmacists are asked to contact patients who may have stock of the Hypurin Porcine Isophane Insulin.
Other batches of either product are not affected.
