Catheter valve

Coloplast is recalling certain Lot numbers of its catheter valve due to a sterility issue. Further information regarding these Lot numbers can be found on the MHRA website.
A Field Safety Notice was issued on 10 November 2011 by Coloplast regarding this recall, however, there are concerns that users of the products have not received the information and have not acted upon it.
All staff are to be made aware of the problem, identify and quarantine affected products and return them to the manufacturer.
