| NPA Structure and Directorates |
| The Association is structured into four directorates, which means that the services we offer are more streamlined - producing a better balance of internal responsibilities and communication. There is, of course, close working and frequent interaction between the directorates; the new structure, with the right people in the right places, is designed to maximise our overall organisational efficiency, flexibility, responsiveness and professionalism - at all points of contact and in every process. |
|
At the head of the National Secretariat is the Chief Executive - who is appointed by the Board. The role and functions of the Chief Executive are wide ranging. They are the 'front line' spokesperson for the NPA membership in a public relations and media capacity. Prominent among their other contributions - and probably the most difficult to quantify - are the time, effort and expertise they and their senior management team devote to the activities, deliberations and decisions of outside bodies which often affect the commercial and professional lives of NPA members directly or indirectly. In essence, the Chief Executive provides both the membership and the Association staff with strong leadership, effective communication and a high level of responsible representation on all matters affecting the profession. |
