Your NPA Membership entitles you to FREE unlimited usage of the Employment & HR Advisory Service. Need a key employment document?

Contracts, handbooks, documents, templates and written guidance can be obtained by telephoning or emailing the  employment advice helpline.  It helps to discuss the purpose for the template documents and how you intend to use them.  Additionally, NPA members have access to a range of online resources available through the NPA Website.


Pharmacy Defence Cover

Your Professional Indemnity provided by NPA Insurance Limited covers you for legal fees should you have an Employment Tribunal brought against you by employees who are employed in your retail or online pharmacy business.  It does not cover for Employment Tribunals brought by employees that work else where your business such as in the office or the warehouse.

The cover extends to legal representation fees only and any award or settlement agreed before a tribunal is heard or is granted by the Employment Tribunal is not covered by the policy.  Settlements and awards are paid by the pharmacy business.

Facing an Employment Tribunal?

When using the Employment Tribunal Litigation Service, you will need to provide documents in a timely manner in order that your case can be presented successfully.  A prospect of success report will be provided to you at the earliest opportunity which will indicate the likelihood of successfully defending the claim.  NPA Insurance Ltd will cover your legal expenses provided there is a reasonable chance, this means 51% or more chance of successfully defending the claim.
