Did you know that, on average, members spend between 3 and 6 hours per month sorting out an average of 40 bills.

Time and cost savings are possible by using our Clearing House Service as part of your monthly routine when paying supplier bills. Simply fill out a form or spreadsheet summarising monthly bills, then send one payment and remittance advices to the NPA to do the rest.

With postage and bank charges on the increase, the service has become even more important to NPA members.

Changes effective from July 2019:

As part of our on-going review of services provided to members, we are making changes to the Clearing House service.

The current service offers two clearings per month: mid-month and end of month. The majority of members use the end of month Clearing so we will be streamlining the service to remove the mid-month clearing and offer one clearing per month.

We will also be implementing a charge per schedule of £15 per month plus VAT which will be invoiced monthly to all members who use the service.

John Pickford, NPA’s Membership Director, said: “This service was previously available to all members within their membership fee, but from July a small charge will be levied to the users of the service only and the wider savings will be redirected to more popular member services.”

All changes will come into effect for the July 2019 clearing.
