We recognise that pharmacy teams are under increasing pressure to diversify and offer more private services while managing costs. From 1 January 2026, NPA Insurance has enhanced its professional indemnity offer to better support you and your pharmacy in today’s evolving landscape and to give you greater flexibility and value, without adding to your financial burden.

What’s changed?

As part of this enhancement, cover for the following private services will be covered as part of the standard policy:

• Phlebotomy

• Cryotherapy

• Ear micro suction

Before January 2026 each of these services attracted an additional premium of £150+ipt providing our members on policy holders savings of up to £450+ipt per branch.

This is in addition to weight loss and an extensive list of PGDs already included as standard within your indemnity policy.

Peace of mind when you need it most

Members and policy holders have access to NPA Insurance’s in house, legally qualified claims team, ensuring fast, expert support when you need it most. Whether it’s handling a complicated medical negligence claim or protecting your reputation, you’re in safe hands with our award-winning team.

Designed for today’s pharmacy environment

This enhancement reflects our commitment to supporting you as the pharmacy landscape evolves. As services expand, you can feel confident that your cover is keeping pace — without unnecessary complexity or additional cost.

As an NPA member, this forms part of your comprehensive indemnity cover, protecting both your pharmacy and your team.
