What is Discrimination?

Discrimination happens when someone is treated unfairly because of their race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics.

In a pharmacy workplace, this could involve:

  • Being denied opportunities due to background or identity

  • Unequal treatment in workload, pay, or training

  • Harassment or microaggressions from colleagues or customers

Everyone deserves to work and study in an environment free from prejudice.
