Forced Marriage & Honour-Based Abuse
What is Forced Marriage?
A forced marriage is when one or both people do not (or cannot) consent to the marriage but are pressured or coerced into it. Honour-based abuse is when someone is harmed because their actions are seen as bringing shame to their family or community.
