Responding to the publication by Community Pharmacy Scotland of the 2026/27 funding settlement for community pharmacies in Scotland, Henry Gregg, Chief Executive of the National Pharmacy Association said:
"This uplift is lower than many had hoped for, but we recognise and appreciate the work CPS has done in getting what they felt was the strongest deal available in the economic circumstances.
"The £10million increase to the Guaranteed Minimum Income will be welcomed by our members.
"We will do all we can to support our members, who now have much needed certainty about the financial envelope for the next 12 months and we are committed to helping ensure their businesses are resilient in tough financial times."
