Flu vaccination is a critically important health intervention and a priority to reduce morbidity, mortality and hospitalisations when the NHS is under winter pressures. As with each flu season, community pharmacy is integral in supporting the NHS in delivering it’s annual flu vaccination programme. As well as accessibility to free NHS vaccines for at risk groups, community pharmacy also supports patients who want to access flu vaccination services privately.
