This online training programme is suitable for all designated supervisors who are new to tutoring as well as being a refresher for the more experienced supervisor. The programme covers key dates and requirements and also focuses on problem solving when difficult situations arise, such as if the trainee pharmacist is not meeting the required learning outcomes.
Our expert team is also on hand to support and guide members and their teams through the GPhC approval process to obtain premises approval to deliver foundation training and compile a training plan. If you require a copy of the NPA’s training plan, please contact Member Services – contact details are shown at the top of this page. We will take the pressure off so that you can enjoy the rewarding experience of being a designated supervisor.
Pharmacists interested in studying this course who are not NPA members are asked to contact our Member Services team by email on: email@example.com
At the end of the course, designated supervisors will feel confident to create a structured training plan for their trainee. They will also be equipped with the information and skills to shape the next generation of pharmacists and optimise their experience of employing a trainee pharmacist.
