Save money by choosing NPA as my PharmOutcomes Affinity Group for PFS claims

Are you using the PharmOutcomes accredited IT system to deliver the Pharmacy First Service? Do you want to benefit from savings on transactional fees? Please read on….

Since April 2022 contractors have had to source an accredited IT system to support their community pharmacy teams with the delivery of the NHSE Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) – this requirement continues with the transition of CPCS into the NHSE Pharmacy First Service. By joining the NPA Affinity group, you become part of a larger provider group and as such, reduce your fees.

 

Being part of the NPA Affinity groups enables you to be in the top tier with each transactional fee being 65p.

By joining the NPA PharmOutcomes Affinity Group, we require a Direct Debit mandate to be set up HERE so that we can collect the payments quarterly.

 

A summary of your monthly claims will be provided in your quarterly invoice and itemised accordingly.

 

What are Affinity Groups?

An Affinity Group is an organisation that can create its own membership to manage the Pharmacy First IT system supplier costs. Pharmacies are given the option to sign up to an Affinity Group when they register with PharmOutoutcomes. By becoming part of an Affinity Group, you will be invoiced for your PharmOutcomes Pharmacy First usage by the Affinity Group rather than PharmOutcomes.

 

Due to the sliding scale of charges this reduces costs to individual pharmacies by being part of a larger provider group such are the NPA Affinity Group.

 

Individual transactional fees are based on a monthly volume and the scale is summarised below:

  • 0 – 9 = 90p
  • 10 – 49 = 85p
  • 50 – 249 = 80p
  • 250 – 2499 = 75p
  • 2500 – 4999 = 70p
  • 5000+ = 65p
