Look-alike sound-alike (LASA) items

This information leaflet details look-alike sound-alike (LASA) items to assist pharmacists and members of the pharmacy team involved in the dispensing process, in selecting the correct item when dispensing against
prescriptions.

Please note:

• Care should continue be taken when using this information leaflet as new items are launched, and
  packaging change, constantly
• The items in bold are the those involved in the most common dispensing errors
• Some items listed may have been discontinued but continue to be available in the supply chain
• This list is not exhaustive
