We operated in the Republic of Ireland under an EU directive. At this time there is no post Brexit agreement that is available to us, such as the temporary permissions regime put in place for EU firms by the UK’s Prudential Regulatory Authority, to allow us to continue writing business in the Republic of Ireland. Unfortunately this means that we no longer have authorisation to write business in the Republic of Ireland effective from 1st January 2021 and, therefore, we cannot offer new business nor renewal terms.
