Consultation on Wellbeing Support Worker Apprenticeship Standard

New Apprenticeship Standards are being developed in England which will, ultimately, replace the current frameworks.

Skills for Health is looking for contribution to their consultation on a Trailblazer standard for Wellbeing Support Workers. It is multidisciplinary and will be a national standard if accepted. Skills for Health is inviting relevant employer sectors to complete a 10 minute survey to gather opinion on:

•  whether the new role profile proposed for the Wellbeing Support Worker looks accurate

•  what employers call this role within their organisation

•  how many people employers currently employ in this type of role (or how many they would look to employ once the apprenticeship route is available)

•  and whether employers would support the new Expression of Interest when it is submitted at the end of November.

You can complete the survey at here or, since the NPA will also be responding on behalf of members, send your views and comments to Helga Mangion at independentsvoice@npa.co.uk by Friday 11th November.
