Lord Clement-Jones

Liberal Democrat Lord

Lord Clement-Jones has been a member of the House of Lords since 1998. He was Chairman of the Liberal Party from 1986 to 1988 and helped to form the Liberal Democrats from the merger of the Liberal Party and the SDP.

He was Treasurer of the Party from 2005 to 2010. He is the former Chair of Council of the School of Pharmacy, now part of UCL and a previous member of the House of Lords Communications Select Committee. He currently serves as Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Select Committee. Lord Clement-Jones is also President of Ambitious About Autism.

 

James Cusick

Panel Chair

James Cusick is former political correspondent of The Independent and The Independent on Sunday. As an experienced member of the lobby, he has previously worked at The Sunday Times and the BBC. His career as a journalist has been split between print and television, including senior positions as producer with Sir David Frost and at BBC Newsnight.

He is also an award-winning golf and travel writer, working for over a decade as the UK contributing editor for one of the USA’s leading golf magazines. He broadcasts regularly for the BBC and CNN. He lives in London.

 

Paul Lucraft

Chair of Lib Dem in Business

Paul Lucraft is a seasoned financial services industry expert, specialising in payment cards and financial risk. Initially qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with what is now Deloittes, he then worked for TSB and Lloyds TSB for 12 years in finance, credit risk and fraud prevention and MasterCard for 9 years becoming General Manager of the UK and Ireland. He currently runs a specialist payments and risk consultancy business, and is a company director for several businesses.

Paul is Chair of Liberal Democrats in Business.

 

‎Raj Matharu

‎Chief Executive Officer, Bexley, Bromley & Greenwich LPC

Raj Matharu is Chair of Pharmacy London and has been CEO of Bexley, Bromley & Greenwich’s Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) since 2008.

LPCs work locally with NHS England Area Teams, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Local Authorities and other healthcare professionals to help plan healthcare services.
