Job Description:
Your role would be a technical specialist focusing on the integrating of information technology efficiently into our business to help achieving our organisation’s goals by introducing new technical solutions and software platforms to current IT infrastructures with the purpose to improve processes and profitability.

You will play key role in digitalisation of pharmacy by:

• Helping pharmacy for digital transformation that improve patient care and outcomes; enabling the pharmacy to listen patient voice, providing personalised recommendations and enhance resource effectiveness
• Helping pharmacy to implement data analytics tools to gain insights into customer behaviour and preferences, which can be used to optimise marketing strategies and improve service offering
• Helping pharmacy to automate routine tasks such as stock inventory management, order processing, and prescription filling. This will help in reducing errors, improved efficiency, and freeing up staff time for other activities
• Helping pharmacy via conducting cyber security assessments to protect sensitive patient data from breaches;
• Build customer confidence and trust in the pharmacy’s digital offerings

Main responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of projects including plan, execute, Quality Analysis, risk Analysis, and Sign off
• Extensively test new functionality ensuring it is fit for purpose and safe for deployment to end users
• Act as a technical expert on pharmacy IT systems and be able to communicate the capabilities and limitations of the systems functionality to clinical staff in a way that can be easily understood
• To help develop and implement local IG policies and promote good information governance
• Perform regular IT/IG related risk assessments and data mapping of records, in accordance with practice policies

Person specification:

Qualifications – Degree in computer science or Information technology

Experience – Minimum one year post graduation work experience of working in the field of IT
