Job Description

The Swift group of pharmacies are within a community based setting in Sheffield and Wigan.

• We offer excellent pre-registration training in all aspects of pharmacy practice, throughout your
pre- registration placement. We want to prepare you for the ever changing, extended role that the
pharmacist faces. You will have the opportunity to work with other healthcare professionals.

• The training will be carried out using a recognised pre-registration programme, such as the NPA.
This offers a structured pre-registration student programme to supplement the training students
receive within their pharmacy.

• The programme is tailored to students undertaking their pre-registration year within an
independent community pharmacy. It provides support and development based around their
experience and professional development.
The programme consists of a series of workshops
throughout the year, specifically designed to help students apply their degree gained knowledge to
a community pharmacy setting.

Hours: 40 hrs/ week • Term: 12 months • Salary: £16k/ year • Contract: 12 months
with the possibility to be employed once registered as a pharmacist.
