Aldershot Pharmacy is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, passionate Pharmacist to join their existing team providing pharmacy and health services to the community of Aldershot. The Pharmacy is a normal hour pharmacy and is new set up of community pharmacy with high growth potential.
The Pharmacy Opening hours are
Monday to Friday : 08.30 to 18.00
Saturday : 09.00 to 17.30
Sunday: Closed
Salary : IRO £ 37,000.00 to 42,0000.00 annual or Hourly rate dependent on experience and the individual
Hours: 45- 47 per week (depend on your availability and flexibility)
We expect the post holder to take part in a system of flexible shift patterns covering Saturdays if require to facilitate Pharmacy’s operational times and service needs. You will be working 5 days in week that is 4 days in weekday and Saturday. Occasionally, you will be also requested to cover company other branch at Cowplain Pharmacy which is about 32 miles from Aldershot Pharmacy (travelling will be paid).
The position benefits from an excellent working environment, staff support and friendly customers. Our pharmacy has a non-pharmacist manager – So pharmacist can concentrate on prescriptions and services, no paper work!!
Main Duties:
As a Pharmacist you will be required to:
All pharmacist duties as well as, providing a positive and friendly image to patients and customers and dealing with queries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
Labelling and dispensing NHS prescriptions
Developing and promoting pharmacy services.
To ensure and maintain compliance with ethical, professional and legal pharmacy standards at all times
To ensure Pharmacy team maintains timely and effective dispensing of prescriptions
Ensures the provision of a safe, effective, efficient, equitable, economic and quality pharmacy services.
This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and these may change within reason according to the needs of the business
Qualification, skills and knowledge Requirements:
GPhC registration with Pharmacy Qualification
MUR and NMS accredited – Preferable- not essential
Experience of working in community pharmacy would be advantageous along with knowledge of Pharmasys IT system but newly qualified, EU Pharmacists well-come
Ability to take part in a system of flexible shift patterns
