Job Description

Full or Part Time Pharmacist/Locum required for our small village pharmacies in Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute. Our Pharmacies are a local essential service for our community. You will assist our customers while developing your career with the support of our full time Superintendent Pharmacist. Our aim is to ensure that every customer has a valued, safe and reliable service. You will engage with customers and offer advice when required.

• This post is suitable for a newly qualified/qualified candidate
• Opportunity to develop further e.g. independent prescribing, vaccinations etc.
• Excellent support from dispensing staff
• Knowledge of all services and how to utilise these to benefit the community. (AMS,CMS, eMAS, urgent supply of medicines)
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Acknowledge and where necessary put into practise all necessary information from Healthboard and Community Pharmacy Scotland
• Product knowledge and appropriate sale for both OTC and Pharmacy medicines
• Knowledge of Palliative Care

• Monday 08.30 – 17.30
• Tuesday 08.30 – 17.30
• Wednesday 08.30 – 17.30
• Thursday 08.30 – 17.30
• Friday 08.30 – 17.30
• Saturday 08.30 – 17.30

Flexible working hours and start time dependant on site.

Job Location: Lochgilphead, Argyll & Bute

Required experience: Newly qualified or Experienced Pharmacist

Required licence or certification: GPhC Registered pharmacist
