Job Description

To undertake a full year of training under the supervision of the pharmacist tutor and other pharmacy team members such as pharmacists & dispensers.
To carry out activities related all aspects preparing & supply of medicines.
To learn and develop performance standards in accordance with tasks, knowledge, skills and professionalism expected of a registered pharmacist.
To learn the business side of managing & running a community pharmacy.
To provide advice to patients on the use of medicines as well as on general health and lifestyle matters.

You will be working with two experienced tutors and excellent support staff that include technician and dispenser.
Our training is supplemented with the highly rated external training programme which includes study days covering topics such as calculations, clinical activities and mock exam practice.
We provide a range of other external cross-sector training including hospital, GPs, nursing homes and local multi-disciplinary meetings.
Good dispensing volume and OTC trade to give student excellent opportunities to learn.
Services we offer include MURs, NMS, Travel clinic, Flu Vaccination, NRT and various other PGDs.
