Job Description

Support Pharmacist Job Role:

1. Medication Dispensing:

  • Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently

2. Patient Consultation:

  • Provide valuable information to patients regarding medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects
  • Address patient queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy

3. Prescription Verification:

  • Verify the accuracy and validity of prescriptions to ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify prescription details when necessary

4. Medication Management:

  • Assist in managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels
  • Conduct regular checks to monitor and control the expiration dates of medications

5. Compliance and Regulatory Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and guidelines

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Pharm.D. or B.Pharm)
  • State licensure and compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
