Job Description

We are currently looking for a Trainee Pharmacist to start in July/August 2023 in our pharmacy in Atherstone, Warwickshire.

Atherstone In-Practice Pharmacy is a fast-growing, 100-hour independent pharmacy with modern premises, in a rural market town, in the Heart of the Midlands.

We pride ourselves in offering a unique trainee experience due to the fact that our pharmacy is situated within one of Warwickshire’s largest and busiest General Practice’s and is owned and operated by some of the Partners from the Practice.

This gives our student the unique opportunity to shadow GP’s and Nurses clinics and work alongside them on a day to day basis.

We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative student with the energy to contribute to our established, highly qualified, happy team. Trainee students will gain valuable experience in all areas of pharmacy and will be actively encouraged to participate and contribute to the day to day running of the business. We currently offer a range of enhanced services and provide services to local nursing homes.

Job Types: Full-time, temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months

8 hour shift

COVID considerations: Currently all staff are required to wear face masks and the counter is surrounded by perspex screening.

Ability to commute/relocate: Atherstone, CV9 1EU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education: Bachelor’s (preferred)

Experience: Pharmacy degree: 4 years (required)
