Job Description

We are looking for a Pre Registration pharmacist for an Independent
Community Pharmacy in Rayleigh, Essex for the year 2020/2021.
Successful applicants will start their Pre Registration year in July 2020
Applicants should be self motivated and be willing to learn at every
opportunity.

We offer an experience based Pre Reg year incorporating short placements:

• Placements will involve a placement in Hospital,
• Attending Clinics with a clinical Pharmacist in a GP surgery

Audley Mills Pharmacy is a busy community pharmacy that offers a wide range of clinical services. We are looking for a trainee with outstanding academic ability, eagerness to learn and acquire new skills. In addition to fulfilling the requirements of the GPhC performance standards, the successful candidates will support us in developing and implementing a range of new clinical services, such as blood tests and vaccination services, for the local community.

The pharmacy provides numerous enhanced services such as NHS Health checks,EHC, Smoking cessation services, Supervised Methadone Consumption, Chlamydia Testing, Flu Vaccination services, advanced Respiratory MUR’s and Incontinence services.

The student must be capable of working independently as well as part of the pharmacy team. They will develop their skills in the dispensary, making OTC sales and giving advice, health promotion and signposting
