We have vacancies for pre-reg pharmacists to join our successful teams in the following branches –

As a Pre-registration Pharmacist joining us at Borno Chemists, you will have exposure to all areas of community pharmacy, and will be provided support, guidance and mentoring by our fantastic group of tutors, setting you in great stead for your future career.

The external Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacist Programme we use is a comprehensive course to prepare trainees for the registration assessment and life as a newly registered pharmacist, covering topics such as –

• Minor Ailments and Responding to Symptoms
• Pharmacy Law and Ethics
• Communication Skills and Patient Counselling
• Healthy Living Pharmacy
• Clinical Topics by BNF/BNFC Chapter
• Medicines Optimisation Workshop (including practical skills on MURs and NMS)
• High Risk Medicines
• Pharmacy Funding
• Safeguarding & Clinical Governance
• Skin and Wound Care
• Pharmacy Management
• Mock Registration Assessment and Revision Guidance
• First Aid Training
• Optional – Flu Vaccination Training (New),
• Leadership (New)
