Bridgewater Pharmacy – Watford

Job Description

We are a busy community pharmacy placed within a large 20 doctor practice.
You will be working with 2 pharmacists and a team of ACT and dispensers involving yourself with general dispensing, nursing homes and providing dossette boxes to our patients as well as giving advice and answering queries on the counter.
There will opportunities to spend time with the nurses in the practice experiencing asthma and diabetic clinics and learning about dressings etc. You will also be able to build relationships with the GPs and shadow them.
A 2 week placement with the local hospital is also provided.
As a pre-reg. you will be expected to help provide the Smoking Cessation service and the MUR and NMS services
You will also be enrolled on a training course supplied by an outside provider which will help you with the skills you need to pass your exam . This will consist of a number of training days throughout the year, webinars and mock exams.
