Job Description

Broadway Pharmacy, a community pharmacy in the heart of Fulwood, has an opportunity for two GPhC registered pharmacy technicians to join our hard-working and efficient team. As a forward-thinking pharmacy we are actively involved in providing enhanced, advanced and private services as well as excellent customer service. Successful candidates would be involved in the provision of these services (where appropriate) as well as undertaking duties in the dispensary including dispensing of medication, care-home and MDS provision, and stock management.

We have recently been involved in a pilot involving one of our registered technicians working in a local GP surgery in a medicines management capacity. We are looking to expand this to a number of other local surgeries and envisage that successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to be involved in this.

Person Specification:
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
NVQ Level III in Pharmacy Services
Commitment to continuing professional development
Attention to detail in all aspects of work
High level of concentration
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional and friendly attitude
Ability to work effectively to deadlines
Excellent team working skills
Computer literate
