Job Description

We are looking for a forward thinking Pharmacist who is passionate about patient care and medicines management to join us. Our pharmacy is integrated closely into the GP practice and you will be working with an excellent clinical team of 8 GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacy Superintendent and the Pharmacy team to offer patient’s a broad spectrum of services and to support the clinical team with prescribing management.
We are a healthy living pharmacy with a proven patient focused approach. We already offer a broad range of services, including warfarin initiation and anti coag monitoring, medicines use reviews, health checks, weight management and smoking cessation but are continually looking to innovate and provide new services to our patients. Given our rural location we also offer our patients a broad and popular retail offering.

The Charing Medical Practice is a rural and expanding GP practice which is within easy reach of Ashford and with excellent transport links to London. We have just completed a significant refurbishment of the pharmacy, investing in the latest BD robot to facilitate automated dispensing.

We are happy to support someone who is newly qualified and offer training, or at another stage in their career looking for a new challenge. We would expect the successful candidate to alreadyy be a prescriber or willing to become an independent prescriber.
