Vacancy for a suitable qualified individual to work for 4 days a week (Tue, Wed, Thursday and Saturday )
Leading a dedicated team of support workers you will have the opportunity to work in a busy environment, where your ideas can get put into action.
Key areas of responsibility include:
– Dispensing and maintaining stock levels.
– Checking prescriptions and medication
– Maintaining prescription files
– Patient education and counselling
– Communicating with doctors and nurses
– Developing additional services
– Maintaining paperwork
– Achieve max numbers of MUR and NMS
You will be also be required to lead, manage and develop the pharmacy team to achieve high professional and operational standards, exemplary levels of service, and delivery of pharmacy objectives and targets. You will develop effective external relationships whilst supporting the growth and development of the business. You will also work to improve professional practice and standards to demonstrate clinical governance and build relationships with GP’s and other Health Professionals.
You must be registered as a practising pharmacist with the GPhC, be MUR accredited, accredited for enhanced services. You must demonstrate with proven leadership & performance management skills. You must also be patient-focused with excellent clinical skills and knowledge, excellent dispensing and OTC skills.
While the minimum contractual hours per week is set at 32 hrs. You may be required to do paid overtime by agreement as and when required.
