Are you committed to caring and efficient customer and patient service in a healthcare environment? Join our family run Community Pharmacy in the heart of Colinton village, on the south side of Edinburgh.

Colinton Village pharmacy is looking for a part-time (approx 24 hours per week) pharmacy assistant. The post will initially consist of medicine counter and other pharmacy support roles with a view to being trained as a pharmacy dispenser.

• A clear understanding of confidentiality
• Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Good numeracy and accuracy skills
• Experience of stock management and till/cash transactions
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Eligibility to work in the UK

A recognised Medicines Counter Assistant qualification would be preferable, but not essential if you have other extensive retail and customer service experience. You would work as a member of the pharmacy team where duties are shared and flexibility is key.

This position will offer you the opportunity to participate in the delivery of many pharmacy processes and establish relationships with customers and patients as well as other healthcare professionals. You will be on the frontline in serving the local community for their pharmacy needs and interacting with customers on a day to day basis.
