Job Description

Cowplain Pharmacy is looking Pharmacist to join our team providing pharmacy and health services to the community of Cowplain, Hampshire. Cowplain Pharmacy is a 100 hour pharmacy and is located within a health centre.

The Pharmacy Opening hours are:
Monday: 08.00 to 23.59
Tuesday – Wednesday: 00.01 to 23.59 (24 hours)
Thursday: 00.01 to 20.00
Friday: 08.00 to 20.00
Saturday: 09.00 to 13.00
Sunday: Closed

Hours: 36-40 per week or more depend on availability (optional covering 2 night shifts)

Sponsorship: Will be provided-Tier-2 visa if require to candidate

We expect the post holder to take part in a system of flexible shift patterns varying early mornings, late evenings, nights and Saturdays to facilitate Cowplain Pharmacy’s operational times and service needs.

The position benefits from an excellent working environment, staff support and friendly customers. Our pharmacy has a non-pharmacist manager – So Pharmacist can concentrate on services and will have minimal paperwork.

Main Duties:
As a Pharmacist you will be required to:

• All pharmacist duties as well as, providing a positive and friendly image to patients and customers and dealing with queries in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
• Give advice on how to use medicines correctly, including the amount to use (dosage) and any risks along with MUR delivery
• Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labelling
• Ensure and maintain compliance with ethical, professional and legal pharmacy standards at all times

Qualification, skills and knowledge Requirements:

• GPhC registration with Pharmacy Qualification
• MUR and NMS accredited – Preferable
• Experience of working in community pharmacy would be advantageous
• Ability to take part in a system of flexible shift patterns
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude

Employee Benefits

Salary:£34,000 to £38,000 per annum depending on experience and hours agreed or can be consider as regular ongoing locum at agreed hourly pay about £ 20- £ 23 p/h.

Long term position available.

Hours: 32 to 40 per week or more depend on availability
