Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacy student to join our team for foundation training year 2024/2025. The training placement for a trainee pharmacist follows a plan approved by the GPHC to ensure all the desired learning outcomes are met.

Delite Chemist is an independent community pharmacy in the outskirts of West London, all our students have passed first time! We provide a wide range of health care and pharmacy services to the local community. We offer a variety of experiences to students, providing them many opportunities for professional development and acquiring new skills while building confidence in practice. Students work together with the pharmacy manager and with our experienced supporting staff to deliver services such as travel clinic, smoking cessation, emergency contraceptive advice to name a few. We are also providing many of the newly commissioned advanced and clinical services to patients.

You would take responsibilities for your own training and development working with your tutor to make sure you achieve all your goals. Our goal is not only for you to pass your exams but become a great all-round Pharmacist.

Employee Benefits

Pre-registration pharmacist is also enrolled on a professional training program which is delivered over the 12-month period to further support learning and development and enhance exam preparation. The trainee gets 4 weeks paid holidays plus bank holidays. The salary will be £24,000 per annum, payable on a monthly basis.
