Job Description

We provide an excellent training programme with 20 years of experience in training pre-registration trainee pharmacists. Most of the time there are two pharmacist, ACT , dispenser and fully trained medical counter assistants present able to provide close supervision and guidance. The pharmacy is spacious with two dispensing areas with four terminals that provide a spacious environment to work in. Onsite training covers all aspect of community pharmacy and services such as MUR, NMS, EHC and Minor Ailments. We have close co-operation with the local GP and Dental surgeries. Time is allocated to shadow GP and staff at the surgery. Trainees will also be given an opportunity to attend regular medical and pharmacy meetings. Study time will be allocated to achieve learning targets. Whilst the primary aim is to pass the GPHC exam, we provide an opportunity to acquire knowledge beyond the requirements enabling you to progress from a pre reg to a competent and confident pharmacy manager.
