The 2nd Pharmacist Manager works in conjunction with the Locks Heath Branch Pharmacist manager to achieve the business aims and broaden pharmacy skills to bring services to the locality.

Our Pharmacist Managers are responsible for running busy community retail pharmacies completing activities in connection with the preparation and supply of medicines, providing advice to patients on the use of medicines /general health and lifestyle matters, providing enhanced range of pharmacy services (e.g. MUR’s, smoking cessation etc) and developing and increasing associated retail sales.

Managers are also responsible for day to day staff rotas, developing staff performance, training, and service delivery activities that support the strategic objectives to maximise the profit and potential of the business.

The ideal applicant would have Pharmacy management, supervisory retail sales / EPOS experience, be an excellent communicator, leader, adaptable, with good IT skills and the initiative and drive to further develop staff, community pharmacy services and branch retail sales business.
