Job Description

DISPENSARY TECHNICIAN / ASSISTANT
*23 ½ average hours per week:
Week 1: Monday, Thursday & Friday 9am-5:30pm
Week 2: Monday & Wednesday 9am-5:30pm & Thursday 9am-6pm,
& Saturday 9am-1pm on Rota – currently 1 in 4 weeks

Pharmacy Technician / Accuracy Checking Technician/or Dispensary Assistant to work under Pharmacist supervision: organising, supporting and completing checking activities in connection with the preparation and supply of prescription and saleable medicines, ensuring safe and correct storage / preparation / labelling and dispensing of medicines,
creating & updating Patient Records, and providing advice on
the use of medicines / general health and lifestyle matters
to deliver excellent customer service.

The ideal applicant would be an adaptable, Qualified Pharmacy Technician/ ACT or Pharmacy Dispenser with Community Pharmacy / Dispensary experience/ with retail sales / EPOS experience, IT skills, and be an excellent communicator / team player. *Staff will be expected to be as flexible as possible to do additional hours i.e., at operationally busy times and for holiday/absence cover
