Job Description

Gowerton Pharmacy currently has a vacancy for an Accuracy Checking Technician.

32 hours a week

Duties include:

  • Performing the final accuracy check of prescriptions where appropriate
  • Prescription intakes and collections
  • Assembling and labelling of prescribed items
  • Stock control including ordering, receiving and storing
  • Selling over the counter medicines and providing appropriate advice
  • Assisting the pharmacy manager and other pharmacy staff
  • Assisting in providing pharmacy services
  • All other pharmacy duties as and when required

To come on board as an Accuracy Checking Technician you will have NVQ Level 3 in Dispensing or equivalent, you must be registered with the GPhC and hold an up to date Accuracy Checker Registration/Qualification, and have previous experience in working in a community pharmacy.

You will enjoy working with others in a team, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for learning and a willingness to be trained on additional services for the needs of the business.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.50 per hour
