Job Description

During your placement, you will be working in a busy high street pharmacy and will gain exposure to a broad range of pharmacy activities including compliance aids, nursing homes, intermediate care ward services & discharge medication, prison contract, smoking cessation, sexual health, healthy lifestyles, minor ailment services, Electronic Prescription Service, services to district nurses and close GP/pharmacy working relationships. You will also have the opportunity to develop leadership, managerial, problem solving and business management skills allowing trainees to prepare for a successful career in pharmacy.

We are an independent family run pharmacy, part of a small group in Yorkshire. Two of our branches have been inspected by the GPhC and awarded “Good” status. We have won a number of Pharmacy awards including one for Enterprise at the Pharmacy Business awards, and one for Team Learning and Development at the Independent Pharmacy Awards. We have more than 10 years’ experience of taking pre-registration pharmacists through to qualifying. We offer a well-rounded experience for a pre-registration pharmacist.
