Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm/10-6.30pm
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire SN2 1AE

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to come and join our team on a permanent basis.

The role

We are looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser to work full time to assist the Pharmacist in running a busy pharmacy in Swindon

As a Qualified Dispenser you will:
Be part of a hard-working and compact team.
Be involved in developing relationships with healthcare organisations and patients
Be pro-actively involved in business development and growth
Deliver items to customers, whilst maintaining customer records.

Main responsibilities:
To order, prepare and dispense medicines to patients
Offer good customer service with customers and surgeries
Serve customers by understanding their needs
Use computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
Receive and unload deliveries
Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards
Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities as required by the company

You will need to be:
Accurate and methodical
Responsible
Able to pay attention to detail
Able to understand law and guidelines on medicines
Able to read and carry out instruction
Interested in people’s health
Able to explain clearly to members of the public
You will also need excellent communication, customer service, IT and manual skills.
