Job Description

We are a family run business consisting of 16 branches across Greater Manchester and Cheshire. You will have access to high quality training that not only meets the GPhC’s criteria, but ensures you build the confidence, skills and competence to enter the profession as a practice-ready and capable pharmacist.

Training:
NPA Foundation Pharmacist Training Programme.

This GPhC-accredited programme will rigorously train you on the BNF chapters, Law and ethics, Pharmaceutical Calculations, Responding to Symptoms, Minor Ailments, Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and a Full day mock exam of clinical questions and calculations. You will also get an opportunity to be trained in Flu/COVID vaccinations, CPCS, emergency first aid (including certification) and medicines counter assistance.

You will get 4 hours of study time per week (this is included in your total of 37.5 hours of work time).

The training consists of a variety of training methods including virtual and face-to-face study days, live/on demand online training, tutorials via interactive webinars and dedicated support teams.

The study days will give you the opportunity to answer GPhC exam style questions, meet other pre-reg students, receive guidance and feedback from dedicated tutors, plan your revision, participate in Q&A sessions and do OSCEs for practical experience.

We would also be willing to sponsor the skilled worker visa.

Hours:
37.5 hours per week (including 4 hours training time)

Placement Opportunities:
Up to 4 weeks of placements

Requirements:
This place is conditional upon successfully completing your MPharm degree
