We are a family run business consisting of 16 branches across Wigan, St Helens, Bolton, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Merseyside.
You will have access to high quality training that not only meets the GPhC’s criteria, but ensures you build the confidence, skills and competence to enter the profession as a practice-ready and capable pharmacist.
Being part of an independent chain of pharmacies exposes you to a unique experience and workplace setting. This includes a greater focus on building relationships with patients, and a more dedicated learning and development environment which will provide you with opportunities which would be difficult to attain elsewhere.
With our 100% success rate for pre-registration students, our training programme is tried and tested in getting you prepared for the pre-registration examination.
We also currently run five COVID vaccination centres from Crewe to Manchester and provide services from Flu Vaccines to independent prescribing which will provide you with a wealth of experience.
NPA Foundation Pharmacist Training Programme.
Our GPhC-accredited programme will rigorously train you on the BNF chapters, Law and ethics, Pharmaceutical Calculations, Responding to Symptoms, Minor Ailments, Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) and a Full day mock exam of clinical questions and calculations.
You will also get an opportunity to be trained in Flu/COVID vaccinations, CPCS, emergency first aid (including certification) and medicines counter assistance.
The training consists of a variety of training methods including virtual and face-to-face study days, live/on demand online training, tutorials via interactive webinars, emergency first aid (including certification) and dedicated support teams. The study days will give you the opportunity to answer GPhC exam style questions, meet other pre-reg students, receive guidance and feedback from dedicated tutors, plan your revision, participate in Q&A sessions and do OSCEs for practical experience. We would also be willing to sponsor the skilled worker visa.
40 hours per week (including 4 hours of protected training time).
This place is conditional upon successfully completing your MPharm degree.
