The Role:

Due to an internal promotion an excellent opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist in a ‘100 hour’ contract NHS pharmacy and Private GP Clinic in Swiss Cottage. You will work closely with a Pharmacy Manager and Superintendent to develop your management skills further. This pharmacy will be extremely service-driven and you will spend a large amount of your time counselling customers and delivering advanced and enhanced services. There will be targets for growth in the first year.

The hours are full time, and you must be willing to work a combination of early, late and weekends shifts to be discussed further at interview stage. The salary for this role is very competitive, based on the successful candidate’s experience and performance at interview. This is an excellent position for a newly-qualified pharmacist who is keen to move into a Community Pharmacy environment or for an experienced pharmacist who is keen to focus on delivering services and be very patient-focused, whilst developing into a Branch Manager (if desired) with strong support and training.

Location:

You will be based in our Swiss cottage branch which has excellent rail and business links. Just a few minutes’ minute walk from the Jubilee and Metropolitan underground stations as well as over ground stations. Parking is available for evening and weekend shifts.

Bus routes 82, 13, 113, C11 and C12 are also close by. We are next door to Santander Bank, Argos and the British Heart Foundation.

From time to time you will be required to attend meetings in our offices in and around London.

Candidate Skills Required:

-You MUST be a General Pharmaceutical Council Registered Pharmacist or due to qualify, summer 2016
– You are professional, ethical and believe in providing outstanding patient care and customer service
– You are an excellent communicator who is confident at networking with patients and local healthcare professionals
– You are service-focussed and enthusiastic for our pharmacy contract and are keen to develop and grow services
– You must be commercially aware and keen to grow a pharmacy business.
