Kings Pharmacy – Birmigham

As a Dispenser you would be responsible for the day to day running of a busy dispensary which will include:

proactivley work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the dispensary
dispensing prescriptions,
answering patient/prescriber/supplier queries,
building relationships with patients, GP surgeries, suppliers and other healthcare proffesionals,
efficiently organising workload and dispensary layout to ensure efficiency,
maintaning stock control and cost effective purchasing,
maintaining dispensary cleanliness and standards
managing our patients and care home monitored dosage systems dispensing,
proactively assist in delivering enhanced/advanced/private patient services
to assist in completion and organisation of pharmacy paperwork
There is a possibility, subject to candidate experience/capability or after a period, to be accountable for the running of the dispensary and later store

Personal specification:

Qualified to level at least 2 NVQ, BTEC or Diploma in pharmacy service skills and pharmaceutical science or be willing to undertake such training provided.
Good attention to detail and high levels of concentration.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Excellent team working skills and ability to lead.
High level of IT literacy
At least 1 years community pharmacy experience would be preferred but not essential.
Organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
A commitment to the care of patients.
