The Pharmacy Sales Assistants are a crucial part of the pharmacy team, offering great service and compelling reasons for customers to come back time and time again. The candidate will become part of the local community, giving advice about over the counter medicines, make up, skincare and food supplement.
The successful candidate will undertake a medicine counter assistant training course if they haven’t already, as well as receiving training about various skincare brands such as Avene, La Roche Posay, Vichy, Clarins and Lancome, and food supplement brands such as Solgar and Viridian. The ideal candidate will be confident, possess good customer service skills, an ability to communicate and learn about new products and pharmacy services and work well in a busy environment, a dynamic pharmacy team is central to our success.The business is a family run business, and has been under the same management for over 35 years and as such we require a candidate that is personable and able to build a rapport with colleagues and regular customers.
Day to day activities include, but are not limited to receiving and checking deliveries from major suppliers, stock management, merchandising, offering advice about over the counter medicines, high end make up, skincare and food supplements and maintaining the appearance of the shop floor.
The salary will be based on previous pharmacy or make up counter/cosmetic experience, a candidate that has completed a medicine counter assistant course is preferable but not essential. The contracted hours are Tuesday 9am – 7pm (one hour lunch break), Friday 9am-7pm (one hour lunch break), and Saturday 9am-6pm (paid lunch break and lunch provided). These hours are non negotiable so please do not apply for this position if these hours do not suit you. |
